The Heart on the Hill in St. George ... Pays Tribute!
We were honoured to have a very special woman come to the hill and perform a prayer ceremony for us on Sunday, June 27th. This ceremony was captured in the VIDEO above.
Her name is Wilamina McGrimmond, of the Frog Clan, Tl'azt'en Nation, originally from Tache, British Columbia.
Her mother is a survivor from a residential school and Wilamina is a spiritual healer and teacher. She is a warrior for missing and murdered women and girls of the native community, and an environmental activist for mother earth.
We as a community, welcomed her to the Hill of St. George located at the home of Stacy Cornale and her family.
